Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join a team focused on delivering a comprehensive testing strategy for an Automated Warehouse programme. This role involves leading a small team of offshore QA engineers and driving the transition from manual to automated testing within a complex system environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to ensure high-quality program delivery and enhancements in testing maturity.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the end-to-end testing strategy for the Automated Warehouse programme.
- Lead and manage a small team of offshore QA engineers, ensuring high-quality testing outputs.
- Drive the automation-first testing strategy and embed automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Coordinate testing activities across multiple delivery teams to ensure alignment with programme timelines.
- Establish and maintain testing standards, governance, and best practices across the programme.
- Provide clear reporting on testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Champion continuous improvement in testing processes and promote a quality-first mindset across the programme.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in QA Engineering, Test Management, or Quality Engineering leadership roles.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing testing strategies across complex programmes.
- Strong background in test automation frameworks and automation strategies.
- Experience leading or coordinating offshore QA teams.
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively across engineering, product, and programme teams.
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
