Overview
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join a dynamic technology transformation programme on a remote 6-month contract basis. The role focuses on enhancing quality assurance processes by incorporating AI-assisted testing, while ensuring high-quality outcomes for both customer-facing and back-office applications. The engineer will work closely with developers and product teams to embed quality throughout the Agile delivery process.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end quality within an Agile delivery squad.
- Perform functional, manual, and exploratory testing across multiple applications.
- Leverage AI-assisted testing tools to improve test coverage and defect detection.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and automation engineers to ensure quality is integral to the delivery process.
- Contribute to the evolution of QA best practices and modern testing strategies.
Requirements
- Proven commercial experience in manual, functional, and exploratory testing.
- Experience working within the Insurance Domain.
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted testing or AI-powered development tools.
- Experience with API testing.
- Knowledge of cloud environments, preferably Azure.
- Strong communication skills and experience working within Agile teams.
- A minimum of 5 years as a QA Engineer.
