Overview
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Lead to spearhead the QA efforts for our testing solutions in a fully remote capacity. The contractor will oversee QA strategies while remaining actively involved in hands-on testing, managing a small team that includes one other tester. The primary focus will be on delivering high-quality solutions by implementing robust testing frameworks and strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of testing strategies across multiple solutions.
- Manage and mentor one other tester to ensure effective QA practices.
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Conduct hands-on testing across various platforms and technologies.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and address quality issues.
- Define and establish QA processes and testing frameworks to enhance efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a hands-on QA Lead or Tester.
- Demonstrated ability to manage or mentor team members.
- Strong expertise in designing and planning testing strategies for new solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, PyTest, and PySpark.
- Experience working in complex technical environments is preferred.
- Ability to define QA processes and frameworks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
