Overview
The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for leading the testing efforts within a critical Master Data Management (MDM) workstream focused on automating people data and integrating HR systems. Collaborating with various stakeholders, the engineer will develop and execute testing strategies to ensure the integrity and quality of data flows and system integrations.
Responsibilities
- Own test planning, strategy and execution across the MDM workstream.
- Create and execute detailed test scenarios, cases and scripts.
- Validate complex integrations and data flows between source and target systems.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation using SQL / SSMS.
- Manage defects, test reporting and quality governance.
- Support automated regression testing where applicable.
Requirements
- Strong background in functional and integration testing.
- Experience with data validation, SQL and API testing.
- Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM), Workday, or HR data environments.
- Ability to create and execute detailed test scenarios and scripts.
- Experience managing defects and test reporting.
- Knowledge of automated testing methodologies is a plus.
