Overview
The Regulatory Reporting Consultant will lead capital-focused regulatory reporting initiatives for a fast-scaling financial services firm. This role involves collaborating with Finance, Treasury, Risk, and senior stakeholders to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of various regulatory submissions. As a critical position within the organization, the consultant will ensure the robustness of reporting frameworks and improve regulatory processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of capital regulatory reporting and internal processes.
- Own submission of COREP, ICAAP, Pillar 1/2/3, Large Exposures, and other capital returns.
- Maintain robust control and governance frameworks across reporting processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely regulatory submissions.
- Review and challenge capital data inputs, assumptions, and reporting outputs.
- Interpret capital regulations and assess the impact of regulatory change.
- Support process improvements, automation initiatives, and new product reporting impacts.
- Partner with Treasury, Finance, and Risk teams to enhance capital reporting frameworks.
Requirements
- 5+ years' regulatory reporting experience within a UK-regulated bank or financial institution.
- Strong capital reporting knowledge (COREP, ICAAP, Pillar 1/2/3, Large Exposures, PRA capital framework).
- Strong understanding of UK/EU capital regulations and reporting requirements.
- Proven controls, governance, and reconciliation expertise.
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
