Overview
The Resourcing Operations Lead will play a vital role in a Microsoft Dynamics consultancy, overseeing resource planning for Dynamics 365 CE and Business Central projects, as well as Managed Services. This hands-on position will require coordination of scheduling and resource allocation while collaborating with project managers, practice leads, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage the schedule board to maintain accurate bookings.
- Resolve allocation gaps, overbooking, and profile mismatches.
- Coordinate demand for hypercare and Managed Services.
- Support small change and release activity documentation.
- Collaborate with PMs and Practice Leads to manage resourcing effectively.
- Identify and flag capacity risks early, providing clear options.
- Enhance resourcing standards, data quality, and operational discipline.
- Act as the initial point of control before escalating issues to PMO or leadership.
Requirements
- Proven experience in delivery operations, resource management, or PMO roles.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 delivery environments.
- Experience with Dynamics CE and/or Business Central projects.
- Background in Managed Services, hypercare, or BAU support.
- Knowledge of schedule boards, bookings, and resource planning practices.
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities effectively.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Project Operations is advantageous.
