Overview
We are seeking a Retail Product Manager on an Outside IR35 contract basis for an initial 6-month engagement. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineering teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment as the business undergoes significant technology and operational transformation. This role focuses on delivery execution, backlog management, and driving product quality while supporting the broader organizational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Own and prioritize the product backlog.
- Write high quality user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with engineers and Tech Leads throughout delivery.
- Drive sprint planning, backlog refinement, and agile ceremonies.
- Help improve product and engineering ways of working.
- Manage dependencies, blockers, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure requirements are clearly defined and ready for development.
Requirements
- Strong Product Management experience within technology teams.
- Proven backlog ownership and prioritization skills.
- Strong experience writing tickets, user stories, and requirements.
- Experience working in agile delivery environments.
- Comfortable working closely with technical stakeholders.
- Experience within retail, omnichannel, operational, or logistics-focused environments is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Notion, or similar tooling.
