Overview
We are seeking a Contracts Administrator / Quantity Surveyor to support a major capital project within a globally leading EPC organization. This role will involve providing essential contract administration support to the Contracts Manager and Construction Manager as part of a dedicated site delivery team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in managing construction contracts and collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams in sectors such as process, pharmaceutical, and engineering.
Responsibilities
- Draft and issue contractual correspondence, including letters, notices, and responses to contractors.
- Support the administration of construction contracts throughout project execution.
- Attend and assist in weekly contractor progress and commercial meetings.
- Monitor contractor compliance with contractual requirements and obligations.
- Maintain contract documentation, records, and correspondence registers.
- Manage variations, compensation events, and change processes.
- Assist with contractor applications, progress assessments, and general commercial administration activities.
- Liaise with project, construction, and commercial teams to ensure effective management of contractual matters.
Requirements
- 5-10 years' experience in Contracts Administration and/or Quantity Surveying.
- Previous site-based experience supporting construction projects.
- Background in engineering, industrial, pharmaceutical, chemical, process plant, or infrastructure projects preferred.
- Good understanding of contract administration principles and construction project delivery.
- Experience working with contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Knowledge of NEC and/or IChemE contracts is advantageous.
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
