Overview
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Data360 / Data Cloud Architect to drive the strategy, design, and technical delivery of enterprise unified data architectures during an initial 6-month contract. This fully remote role entails acting as the primary technical authority on Salesforce Data360 while collaborating with data engineering and platform development teams to deliver solutions that support enterprise analytics and AI activation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end technical architecture and solution design for Salesforce Data360 implementations.
- Design data models, data streams, and integration patterns connecting Data360 with Salesforce and enterprise data warehouses.
- Establish identity resolution rules, unified data schemas, and segmentation frameworks for real-time activation.
- Guide teams on best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and API integrations.
- Collaborate with architects, data governance councils, and business leads on AI model grounding and automation of workflows.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in architecting and implementing enterprise data platforms, specifically with Salesforce Data Cloud / Data360.
- Proficient in SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, data modeling, and ETL/ELT pipeline integrations.
- Advanced knowledge of Identity Resolution, Data Streams, and dynamic Segmentation targets.
- Experience with Zero-Copy architecture and data federation with external data lakes/warehouses.
- Strong communication skills to articulate complex decisions to stakeholders and non-technical leaders.
- Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant certification is preferred.
