Overview
The SAP Data Migration Specialist will play a vital role in a key ERP transformation programme, focusing on execution of data migration from the discovery phase through to go-live and hypercare. The contractor will work closely with technical teams to tackle data challenges and ensure the successful delivery of migration outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end SAP migration activities across multiple data objects.
- Produce mapping and transformation documentation.
- Define business rules and support data harmonisation.
- Prepare technical specifications for Data Engineering teams.
- Execute migration testing, reconciliation, and audit validation.
- Run mock migration cycles and perform variance analysis.
- Lead cutover migration activities and support post-go-live hypercare.
Requirements
- Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA and/or SuccessFactors data migration.
- Experience delivering full migration lifecycles independently.
- Strong expertise in data mapping, transformation, reconciliation, and defect management.
- Ability to operate autonomously and meet demanding project milestones.
- Comfortable working within complex ERP programmes and engaging with system integrators.
