Overview
The SAP Finance Data Lead (S4) will drive the assessment and application of Operations Finance business data design, focusing on Product Costing and Inventory management. Collaborating with global functional deployment teams, this role ensures alignment between S/4 data design and business requirements, supporting the transition from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA. The contractor will work closely with various stakeholders to document data standards and identify enhancements to improve data integrity and usability.
Responsibilities
- Assess real-life application of Operations Finance data design.
- Assist in defining and documenting S/4 Enterprise Data Standards.
- Ensure alignment of data design with existing SAP ECC data.
- Lead identification of enhancements for detailed data design.
- Collaborate with S/4 Data & Analytics and other business teams.
- Explain complex data concepts to business users.
- Support implementation of best business practices in data management.
- Contribute to global team efforts across various functions.
Requirements
- Significant experience in Operations Finance, focusing on data.
- Specific background in Product Costing and Inventory valuation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial program deployment activities.
- Experience in SAP transactions and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and in diverse global teams.
- Strong communication skills to influence stakeholders.
- Experience with S/4 HANA implementation is desirable.
- Background in Data Governance and Data Quality improvement is a plus.
