Overview
We are seeking an actively SC Cleared Senior IT Service Manager to oversee CIS Infrastructure as a Service for NATO on a 12-month contract with the potential for extension. The role includes a combination of 50% home working and 50% on-site in Brussels, giving flexibility in how the work schedule is arranged. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with service lines and the CIS Support and Sustainment Centre to ensure high-quality engineering support and manage various service operations effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage the CIS Infrastructure as a Service and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
- Coordinate closely with service lines and CSSC to ensure the availability and quality of engineering support.
- Oversee Configuration Management to maintain accurate and accessible asset records.
- Conduct periodic risk assessments and initiate new projects under the NATO Security and Investment Programme as needed.
- Develop and manage Change Management plans to address identified issues and adapt to evolving operational needs.
- Support the Principal Service Manager in preparing the annual Operation and Maintenance budget.
- Ensure system documentation for operation, maintenance, and training is current and aligns with system changes.
- Manage contractor support resources and contribute to the Quarterly SLA reports.
Requirements
- Active SC Clearance is required.
- ITIL Foundation and Intermediate Certifications in areas such as Service Design, Service Transition, and Service Operation are needed.
- Extensive experience in IT services engineering, planning, operations, and management is essential.
- Demonstrated line management experience with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
- Strong knowledge of Configuration Management and Change Management processes and tools.
- Proven business and managerial skills including budget planning and contingency implementation.
- Experience working with NATO or the MOD is preferred.
