Overview
We are seeking a Senior Technical Specialist with strong expertise in NetApp technologies to oversee critical Compute, Virtualisation, Storage, and Backup operations. The selected candidate will work closely with teams to validate technical practices and ensure high standards in infrastructure management. This role requires active participation in coordinating activities related to storage systems and backup processes while contributing to documentation efforts.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and manage NetApp SAN and Filers, including upgrades and replacements.
- Assess and remediate storage and backup obsolescence issues.
- Execute and coordinate technical activities related to Ransomware remediation.
- Manage and fulfill infrastructure requests, including IPs, DNS, and Firewall configurations.
- Supervise and coordinate vendor activities and Build Factory technical inputs.
- Contribute to and produce Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and technical documentation.
- Perform hands-on engineering tasks in secure and defense environments.
Requirements
- Must hold SC clearance.
- Extensive experience with NetApp technologies and storage replication.
- Proficiency in backup solutions such as Veeam and NetBackup.
- Solid understanding of operating systems including RHEL, Rocky, CentOS, and Windows Server.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Ansible and PowerShell.
- Familiarity with secure and air gapped defense environments is essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a mixed onsite environment.
