Overview
This role is for an SC Cleared Unified Communications (UC) Project Manager to oversee significant projects focused on Microsoft Teams Telephony. The contractor will work onsite in the M4 Corridor area, collaborating closely with UC Architects and Engineers while managing teams to ensure effective implementation and delivery of UC solutions. This position requires active SC clearance due to the sensitive nature of the projects and involves regular travel to various UK sites.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee Unified Communications projects and teams.
- Coordinate with UC Architects and Engineers during project lifecycle.
- Track project progress and create schedules and milestones for engineering teams.
- Conduct surveys, updates, and implementations for existing and new UC solutions.
- Ensure timely decommissioning and setup of physical handsets and related equipment.
- Facilitate communication with clients and provide project updates.
Requirements
- Active SC clearance is required.
- Proven experience in managing Unified Communications projects with a focus on Teams Telephony.
- Strong knowledge of networking, cabling, and UC elements like handsets and Audio Codes.
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills are essential.
- A valid driving license and a car are mandatory.
- Certifications such as Prince, ITIL or similar are preferred.
