SC Server & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Overview

The Server & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will play a critical role in supporting and maintaining a hybrid Microsoft infrastructure within a secure enterprise environment. Collaborating with a 3rd Line Infrastructure team, the engineer will focus on administering Azure cloud services, Windows Server environments, and VMware infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability of critical systems. This role requires candidates to possess active SC Clearance and NPPV3 eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration and support for Azure cloud services.
• Manage Windows Server and VMware infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability and security of critical systems.
• Collaborate with the 3rd Line Infrastructure team to implement improvements.
• Perform patch management and security remediation tasks.
• Oversee core infrastructure services such as DNS and DHCP.
• Conduct 3rd line support for infrastructure issues.

Requirements

• Active SC Clearance and NPPV3 eligibility.
• Proven experience in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong background in Windows Server administration.
• Familiarity with VMware/vSphere virtualisation technologies.
• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and core infrastructure services.
• Background in hybrid cloud infrastructure management.
