Overview
The SCADA Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the design and implementation of SCADA and OT systems within utility-scale infrastructure projects, including battery energy storage systems, substations, and renewable energy facilities. The engineer will work closely with project teams to ensure seamless commissioning and integration of advanced control systems while engaging with various stakeholders to uphold quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement SCADA and OT systems for utility-scale projects.
- Collaborate with project teams on commissioning and integration activities.
- Interpret and analyze electrical schematics, control drawings, and system layouts.
- Conduct fault finding, testing, and provide commissioning support.
- Create and maintain QA documentation to ensure compliance with standards.
- Communicate with stakeholders to align on project goals and quality requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience with SCADA and operational technology controls.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, RTUs, and industrial networking protocols.
- Familiarity with Modbus, DNP3, and IEC 61850 protocols.
- Experience in battery energy storage systems and renewable energy projects.
- Ability to read and interpret control drawings and electrical schematics.
- Background in high voltage and critical infrastructure environments.
