Overview
We are seeking an experienced SCCM Specialist with active SC clearance for a remote technical delivery role. The contractor will work on improving the health and reliability of a large Microsoft SCCM estate, tackling endpoint communication, patching, and software deployment issues while collaborating closely with infrastructure and security teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive health check of the SCCM environment.
- Investigate client communication and endpoint management issues.
- Troubleshoot software deployment, Windows patching, and update failures.
- Review SCCM boundaries, distribution points, and client configuration.
- Enhance endpoint compliance and reduce security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to implement lasting improvements.
- Produce clear technical documentation and recommendations.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SCCM / MECM.
- Background in Windows endpoint management for Windows 10 and 11.
- Experience troubleshooting patch management, software deployment, and client health issues.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, and WSUS.
- Exposure to Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, or co-managed environments is advantageous.
- Experience supporting secure enterprise environments with a focus on endpoint security and vulnerability remediation.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
