Overview
The Scrum Master will lead Agile delivery and enhance workflow management for a prominent consultancy's high-profile client. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the contractor will utilize their expertise in Agile methodologies and Jira to ensure project success in a regulated environment. This hybrid role requires the individual to have active security clearance and experience in managing complex deliveries in compliance-driven sectors.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Drive continuous improvement to optimize workflows and enhance team productivity.
- Manage and track project progress using Jira, ensuring transparency in reporting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align project goals and expectations.
- Ensure adherence to Agile principles and methodologies throughout the delivery process.
- Assist in resolving impediments faced by the team to maintain momentum.
- Address any compliance requirements associated with the project delivery.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience as a Scrum Master in Agile delivery environments.
- Active Security Clearance (SC).
- Strong hands-on expertise using Jira Software for project management.
- Solid understanding of Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
- Proven experience managing projects in highly regulated environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with government digital standards or frameworks is desirable.
- Relevant Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master) are a plus.
