Overview
The Security & Identity Architect will play a pivotal role in the security design and governance of a major digital manufacturing project. Collaborating with various architectural teams, the contractor will focus on integrating Cyber Security and Identity & Access Management (IAM) principles into both Enterprise IT and Operational Technology environments. This role combines hands-on architectural responsibilities with strategic oversight in ensuring security compliance and risk management during the project's lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Implement and embed robust security architecture across the Digital Manufacturing ecosystem.
- Lead the IAM strategy across Enterprise IT and Operational Technology environments.
- Define role-based access controls, privileged access management, and user lifecycle models.
- Support Single Sign-On (SSO) and identity federation across enterprise platforms.
- Secure APIs, machine identities, and Industrial IoT devices within the integration architecture.
- Review and assure designs from internal teams and external technology vendors.
- Represent security and identity architecture at the Architecture Review Board.
- Proactively identify and mitigate security risks throughout the project.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Enterprise and Solution Security Architecture within digital transformation programmes.
- Solid understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
- Experience with Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) security.
- Knowledge of Cloud Security Architecture, particularly with Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with digital manufacturing ecosystems such as MES, PLM, and IIoT.
- Expertise in frameworks including ISA-95, Purdue Model, NIST Cyber Security Framework, and ISO 27001.
- Proficient in technologies like Microsoft Entra ID, SAP Security, and SAML/OAuth2.
