Overview
The Security Architect will play a critical role as a Principal Solutions Architect/Consultant, focusing on security architecture and advisory consultancy to clients. The contractor will engage with customers to assess vulnerabilities in their systems and assets, providing expert guidance in security practices, while also leveraging advanced security techniques in a fully remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements to assess customer security needs.
- Conduct penetration testing and exploitation assessments.
- Advise clients on vulnerabilities across their systems and assets.
- Develop and implement security architecture solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to present findings and recommendations.
- Manage vulnerability and threat modeling processes.
- Oversee cloud security measures for AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Implement network security practices including firewalls and SIEM solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in security architecture or consulting roles.
- Demonstrated experience engaging with senior stakeholders and customers.
- Knowledge of telecommunications sector and global GSMA standards.
- Proficient in cloud security and container security technologies.
- Experience with network security measures and incident response.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and SOC2.
- Hands-on experience with secure software development and code review.
- Expertise in identity and access management principles.
