Overview
We are seeking a contract Security Platform Engineer who will contribute significantly to a large Defence project. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and maintain secure infrastructure in hybrid environments, ensuring compliance with defense-sector standards. The ideal candidate will be proactive and hold active DV clearance, ready to enhance platform security and streamline operational processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy secure, scalable infrastructure across hybrid environments.
- Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes to ensure operational resilience.
- Automate system tasks and maintain cross-platform stability through Linux Bash scripting and Windows Administration.
- Integrate and manage SecOps tooling to improve security operations.
- Implement and tune EDR solutions for advanced threat detection and response.
- Leverage log aggregators to centralize and analyze system and security data.
- Enhance platform security and streamline operations while adhering to stringent defense standards.
Requirements
- Active DV clearance is mandatory.
- Proven experience with Kubernetes for managing containerized applications.
- Strong proficiency in Linux Bash scripting and Windows Administration.
- Experience with SecOps tooling and EDR solutions.
- Ability to integrate and manage log aggregators effectively.
- Background in enhancing platform security and operational processes in defense environments.
