Overview
The Senior AI Engineer / ML Platform Engineer will play a vital role in developing next-generation AI and machine learning platforms. Collaborating with various organizations, the contractor will focus on building robust AI solutions, including the productionization of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI, while implementing best practices in MLOps. This remote position suits experienced engineers specializing in AI platforms and ML systems.
Responsibilities
- Build advanced AI and agentic platforms.
- Productionize LLM and Generative AI solutions.
- Develop machine learning platforms and feature stores.
- Create RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and vector search solutions.
- Design scalable data and AI pipelines.
- Implement MLOps and LLMOps best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Python programming.
- Familiarity with Databricks including PySpark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow, and Mosaic AI.
- Solid understanding of LLMs, Generative AI, and AI Agents.
- Experience with MLOps and production machine learning systems.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and/or Azure.
- Experience with Kafka and streaming technologies.
- Proficient in Terraform and infrastructure as code methodologies.
