Overview
The Senior AI Engineer (LLM/Agentic AI) will play a critical role in a major AI transformation initiative within a global organisation. This position involves designing, building, and deploying advanced AI agents and large language model (LLM) systems in production environments, while collaborating closely with other team members to drive impactful business outcomes. The role is hybrid, requiring occasional on-site presence in Victoria, London.
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy production-grade AI agents and LLM-powered applications.
- Design agentic workflows using frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.
- Develop and optimise Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
- Integrate AI solutions into products, APIs, and business workflows.
- Deploy scalable AI systems with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Contribute to projects related to recommendation, classification, forecasting, and automation initiatives.
- Utilise Python for development and production software engineering tasks.
- Deliver LLM-based solutions into live production environments.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Python development and production software engineering.
- Demonstrated experience shipping LLM-based solutions to production.
- Knowledge of AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and applications.
- Ability to integrate AI solutions into various business workflows and APIs.
- Experience working with databases and SQL for data management.
