Overview
The Senior AI Engineer will collaborate with finance, tax, and compliance professionals in a global asset management firm to develop robust tools for regulatory reporting, tax platforms, and compliance workflows. This role, based in a regulated environment, requires building production-level AI systems with a strong emphasis on auditability and data controls. Engaging directly with senior stakeholders, the engineer will leverage a solid engineering background to tackle complex operational challenges while ensuring the systems meet high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop automation solutions for regulatory reporting and compliance processes.
- Implement multi-jurisdiction tax platforms that integrate data across various regions.
- Create workflow automation tools to streamline approval processes across multiple stakeholders.
- Design and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes on Azure AKS.
- Collaborate with senior business professionals to translate technical requirements into actionable solutions.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory standards in all developments.
- Utilize Snowflake SQL for data integration and analytical purposes.
Requirements
- Proven engineering experience in production-level AI system deployment.
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, with practical experience managing applications on AKS.
- Experience with GitOps methodologies, particularly Flux CD or ArgoCD.
- Fluency in Snowflake SQL, with hands-on experience in data pipeline projects.
- Ability to operate effectively in a regulated financial environment with a focus on data controls.
- Experience interacting with senior stakeholders, particularly in finance or compliance sectors.
- Background in financial services operations, including fund accounting or regulatory reporting.
- Familiarity with CRM or enterprise data integrations, such as Salesforce or DealCloud.
