Overview
The Senior Analytics Engineer will play a vital role in enhancing a HealthTech company's analytics platform through hands-on development and collaboration with various stakeholders. This position involves designing and building robust data models, and implementing analytics engineering best practices to ensure high-quality and scalable analytics solutions. The contractor will work closely with both technical and non-technical teams to understand requirements and drive deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable domain models to support data analytics.
- Build and optimize incremental dbt models in Snowflake.
- Take ownership of projects from discovery through to delivery.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize tasks.
- Drive best practices in analytics engineering, focusing on testing, documentation, and CI/CD.
- Deliver reliable and scalable data models that facilitate business growth.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with Snowflake and dbt.
- Proven ability to build and maintain incremental dbt models.
- Solid data modeling and SQL skills.
- Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of analytics engineering best practices, including testing and documentation.
- Desirable: Previous experience in HealthTech or regulated industries.
- Desirable: Experience in fast-paced product or scale-up environments.
