Overview
We are seeking a Senior Application Support Engineer with active eDV security clearance to enhance and maintain enterprise infrastructure in a critical environment. The role involves collaborating with technical teams and end users to ensure system reliability, performance, and security. You will apply your expertise in infrastructure engineering to support production systems and optimize operational processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain physical and virtual infrastructure.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance.
- Automate operational processes using configuration management and scripting tools.
- Support production systems and resolve complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve reliability, scalability, and security.
- Assist with system integrations and technical onboarding activities.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support across infrastructure and platform services.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative measures.
Requirements
- Active eDV clearance.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, and system administration.
- Experience supporting Linux-based environments.
- Knowledge of structured data formats including JSON, XML, and CSV.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving.
- Experience with Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, or similar technologies is desirable.
