Overview
The Senior Authorised Person will be pivotal in executing critical reinforcement and infrastructure upgrades necessary for meeting increasing demand and enhancing network resilience, with a focus on low-carbon connections. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure safe operation and compliance in high voltage environments, while also engaging in commissioning and energisation activities.
Responsibilities
- Perform HV switching operations up to 33kV.
- Issue and receive safety documentation.
- Manage planned outages and facilitate network access.
- Support substation upgrades and asset replacement projects.
- Ensure compliance with DNO operational procedures and safety regulations.
- Assist in network reinforcement schemes and EV technology connections.
- Collaborate on asset refurbishment and replacement initiatives.
Requirements
- Possess current or recent 33kV Senior Authorised Person (SAP) authorisation.
- Demonstrate strong experience with DNO networks.
- Have a solid commissioning and operational background.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
