Overview
We are seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer specializing in migration to join a consultancy firm on a crucial project supporting an AWS Lakehouse migration for a client in the Gambling and Sports Betting sector. This hybrid role is primarily focused on AWS infrastructure and requires collaboration with Architects and Data Engineers to ensure optimal cloud configurations.
Responsibilities
- Assess and remediate existing AWS infrastructure configurations.
- Ensure the cloud environment is secure, scalable, and cost-optimized.
- Manage networking, IAM, and configuration of AWS-native services.
- Act as the primary contact for AWS co-funding and MAP programme engagements.
- Collaborate closely with Architects and Data Engineers to meet infrastructure needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience with AWS infrastructure, including VPC, IAM, S3, EC2, and EKS.
- Familiarity with migration tooling and cloud cost optimization strategies.
- Understanding of security and compliance requirements in regulated environments, preferably iGaming or Financial Services.
- Experience with the AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP).
