Overview
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst / Consultant with a focus on the water and utilities sector to join our team on a 3-month contract with potential for longer-term engagement. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive industry experience and analytical skills to provide critical insights and solutions, collaborating with various stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements.
- Develop detailed business process models and requirements documentation.
- Support the definition and delivery of business and system changes within asset management.
- Collaborate closely with technical and project delivery teams to ensure adequate implementation of requirements.
- Identify and analyse opportunities for business improvements and performance optimisation.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure alignment of solutions with business needs.
- Support testing, validation, and post-implementation reviews.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst on large-scale transformation projects.
- Proven track record as a Senior Business Analyst capable of leading workstreams independently.
- At least 2 years of experience within the UK Water industry is essential.
- Strong understanding of business processes and compliance within the utilities sector.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at all levels.
- Expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and solution design.
- Desirable experience includes Asset Management or Asset Information Systems, and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
