Overview
This contract role for a Senior Business Analyst focuses on shaping and delivering user-centered digital services within the healthcare sector, primarily through Agile methodologies. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including product managers, designers, and developers, to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements and ensure impactful digital solutions for users. It is a remote position with occasional travel to Leeds and London.
Responsibilities
- Investigate business problems and identify opportunities for digital transformation.
- Work closely with Product Managers and multidisciplinary teams to define and prioritize user and business requirements.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder engagement sessions, and collaborative decision-making.
- Produce user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and other analysis artifacts that support Agile delivery.
- Ensure requirements are clearly understood, validated, and aligned with user needs and organizational objectives.
- Support service design and continuous improvement in user-centered digital services.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and delivery teams to ensure shared understanding and successful outcomes.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst delivering digital services within government, NHS, or other regulated environments.
- Experience working in Agile, multidisciplinary teams using GDS principles and service standards.
- Ability to elicit, analyze, and communicate complex business requirements using a range of Agile techniques.
- Skilled at facilitating workshops, mapping business processes, modeling user journeys, and identifying opportunities for service improvement.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships across multiple levels, balancing user needs, business priorities, and technical constraints.
- Experience supporting product teams through discovery, alpha, beta, and live phases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using evidence and data to inform decision-making.
