Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to play a critical role in a merger and acquisition programme, focusing on tenant-to-tenant Microsoft 365 migrations. The contractor will collaborate with various stakeholders across business and IT teams to analyze business impacts, gather requirements, and ensure the successful integration of communication and productivity services. This hybrid position requires a strategic thinker experienced in managing complex IT transformations.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT teams.
- Support M&A, acquisition, divestment, or separation workstreams.
- Produce business requirements documents (BRDs), process maps, user stories, gap analysis, and functional documentation.
- Define current state and target state operating models.
- Work closely with architects, migration specialists, security teams, and project managers.
- Assess impacts across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID / Azure AD, and Intune.
- Facilitate workshops covering migration scope, cutover, user segmentation, and business readiness.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in M&A, divestment, or separation programmes.
- Strong experience with tenant-to-tenant Microsoft 365 migrations.
- Good knowledge of Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and identity management.
- Experience documenting both business and technical requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced transformation environments.
