Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to take a leading role in business analysis activities within a large financial organization for a 12-month contract. This position offers hybrid working and focuses on analyzing complex business needs while collaborating with stakeholders to design and deliver effective solutions. The successful candidate will also mentor team members, ensuring the high-quality standard of business analysis practices and facilitating change management efforts across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead expert business analysis activities to drive business value for the organization.
- Analyze complex business needs and collaborate with stakeholders to understand desired business outcomes.
- Partner with Business Product Owners, SMEs and delivery teams to define and prioritize initiatives and requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement and development of organizational Business Analysis capabilities.
- Communicate complex business requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide advice on organizational change impacts and guidance for navigation through changes.
- Model best practices in business analysis to ensure high-quality standards are achieved.
- Mentor and coach team members to enhance their requirements analysis and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a financial services environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex information.
- Expert knowledge of analysis techniques, Agile practices, and risk in analysis.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective stakeholder management.
- Results-oriented with a proactive mindset focused on delivering value to stakeholders.
- Experience in solution development, including business model design and commercial analysis.
- Strong ability to mentor and support the development of team members.
- Familiarity with project and change management methodologies.
