Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to play a critical role in a merger and acquisition programme, with a focus on tenant-to-tenant Microsoft 365 migrations. This role will involve collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to understand and document business impacts, gather requirements, and map processes to ensure the successful delivery of essential services during integration or separation activities. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in M&A, divestment, or complex IT transformations and strong knowledge of Microsoft 365.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.
- Work with stakeholders across business and IT teams.
- Support M&A, acquisition, divestment, or separation workstreams.
- Produce business requirement documents (BRDs), process maps, user stories, gap analysis, and functional documentation.
- Define current state and target state operating models.
- Collaborate closely with architects, migration specialists, security teams, and project managers.
- Assess impacts across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID / Azure AD, and Intune.
- Facilitate workshops covering migration scope, cutover, user segmentation, and business readiness.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in M&A, divestment, or separation programmes.
- Strong experience with tenant-to-tenant Microsoft 365 migrations.
- Good knowledge of Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and identity management.
- Experience documenting both business and technical requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced transformation environments.
