Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a 6-month contract focused on a critical change project in the commercial insurance sector. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in data analysis and stakeholder collaboration to drive business requirements for the Italian Surety project. This role involves outlining business analysis strategies, ensuring clarity and traceability of requirements, and fostering alignment between business and technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Outline and agree on the business analysis approach with the project manager and business lead.
- Ensure clear documentation and validation of business requirements in line with project timelines.
- Develop an understanding of the business environment and elicit requirements from stakeholders.
- Analyze and document business requirements to high standards, ensuring clear outputs.
- Manage requirements with traceability, prioritization, change control, and approval processes.
- Collaborate with data and engineering teams to ensure data requirements are accurately reflected in solutions.
- Participate in post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement activities.
- Provide support during build and test phases to address queries and resolve defects.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst, preferably in the commercial insurance sector.
- Strong expertise in data analysis and requirements gathering.
- Understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with business process mapping and documentation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of best practice tools and techniques for business analysis.
- Experience in managing end-to-end traceability and change control processes.
- Strong communication and documentation skills for clear stakeholder alignment.
