Overview
The Senior Business Systems Analyst will play a crucial role in managing stakeholder engagement and conducting structured analysis within the Student Loans Company (SLC) and Postgraduate Loan Northern Ireland (PGNI) environments. This hybrid position requires collaboration with both business and technical stakeholders to gather and document requirements while navigating changing priorities in a fast-paced project delivery context.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
- Manage evolving project scope and changing requirements throughout delivery lifecycles.
- Identify and document non-functional requirements, including security and release considerations.
- Conduct detailed data analysis across multiple data sources and systems.
- Design and document data flows, transformations, sequence diagrams, and source-to-target mappings.
- Support the creation of high-level designs (HLDs) and technical documentation.
- Facilitate Agile SCRUM delivery across cross-functional teams.
- Track actions, dependencies, and stakeholder deliverables to completion.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years as a Business Systems Analyst, with 7+ years in technical environments.
- In-depth knowledge of the Student Loans Company (SLC) domain and related operational processes.
- Strong experience in managing changing requirements and project scope.
- Proficient in data analysis using Oracle, SQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, and Excel.
- Experience in designing data flows and producing sequence diagrams.
- Familiar with Agile SCRUM delivery methodologies.
- Significant client-facing experience in fast-paced environments.
