Overview
The Senior C# Engineer will lead the development of a greenfield SaaS product by architecting and implementing complex distributed services using C# and .NET Core on AWS. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this role involves close collaboration with business analysts and a strong focus on product-centric delivery in a fast-paced, innovative environment. As a senior technical leader, you will apply advanced AI engineering practices and oversee the full lifecycle of product features, ensuring high coding and engineering standards.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build and deploy complex distributed services in C# and .NET Core, primarily leveraging AWS Lambda.
- Design and implement resilient, event-driven systems using SQS and related AWS messaging services.
- Utilize Claude Code and advanced agentic workflows to manage multi-agent orchestration and AI-assisted delivery.
- Partner with business analysts to define high-level product solutions and deliver end-to-end feature sets.
- Create well-structured, documented APIs that prioritize developer experience and system stability.
- Promote a high-quality engineering culture through robust testing, CI/CD practices, and secure coding standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in backend engineering with deep expertise in C# and .NET Core 8/9.
- Expertise in architecting serverless applications on AWS, specifically with Lambda, SQS, and related services.
- Hands-on experience with Claude Code or similar AI-native frameworks and advanced workflows.
- Strong skills in designing event-driven systems and managing AWS messaging infrastructure for operational resilience.
- Solid understanding of database technologies, including Aurora RDS MySQL and DynamoDB, with a focus on performance tuning and schema design.
- Experience with CI/CD methodologies, ideally using GitHub Actions, and infrastructure as code tools like AWS CDK or Terraform.
- Excellent communication skills and experience in shaping requirements and facilitating client interactions.
