Overview
The Senior Change Programme Manager will lead a team of experienced project management professionals within the Change function, focusing on the development and execution of complex change programs. This role involves defining a change delivery framework, driving team objectives, and ensuring the successful delivery of strategic projects while mentoring and developing team members. The position is ideal for candidates with a significant background in programme management within a professional services environment, particularly law firms.
Responsibilities
- Lead and line manage a team of seven project management professionals.
- Define and embed the change delivery framework for the team.
- Set clear objectives and drive continuous professional development.
- Shape, mobilise, and deliver complex programs and projects.
- Assemble necessary structures, governance, resources, and plans for execution.
- Retain ownership of selected key programs while overseeing wider project portfolios.
- Build effective relationships with team members to support their career development.
- Utilise Agile and Waterfall methodologies in program delivery.
Requirements
- Significant experience at programme management level, particularly in law firms.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex programs in professional services.
- Experience in shaping and mobilising programs from inception to delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to line manage and develop high-performing project teams.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills with a focus on relationship building.
- Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- PRINCE2 certification is required.
