Overview
We are looking for a Senior Data Architect to join a pivotal government project, focusing on the design and implementation of enterprise-level data solutions within a secure environment. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to establish data structuring, governance, and sharing practices that align with government standards and departmental strategies.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement architecture principles, frameworks, and standards to support the long-term data strategy.
- Build and optimise data models to connect multiple systems, ensuring data quality and accessibility.
- Advise on data engineering, storage, and governance practices.
- Collaborate with architects, product teams, and senior stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Requirements
- Active SC Clearance is required.
- Proven experience as a Data Architect in government or large public-sector projects.
- In-depth knowledge of data modelling, architecture frameworks, and governance.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders effectively.
