Overview
We are looking for experienced Senior and Lead Data Engineers to join a major household brand's data engineering team. This role focuses on building and enhancing cloud-based data solutions in support of the organization's loyalty and rewards initiatives. You will work closely with senior technical leadership and collaborate with various stakeholders within a modern data environment, contributing to the continuous development of the data platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and data products.
- Build and optimise data models within the data platform.
- Support the delivery of scalable and reliable data solutions.
- Contribute to code reviews and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with technical stakeholders to deliver business requirements.
- Support ongoing platform development and improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong Data Engineering experience.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS, Snowflake, and dbt.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience building and supporting modern cloud-based data platforms.
- Understanding of data modelling and data transformation principles.
- Ability to work within collaborative engineering teams.
- Desirable: Experience with Airflow, Databricks, and AI-focused development; exposure to Azure-based or other cloud environments.
