Overview
The Senior Data Engineer will play a critical role in enhancing the data function of a leading UK industrial and logistics warehousing business. This contract position involves collaborating with engineering, analytics, and technical teams to improve and scale cloud infrastructure and deployment processes. The role requires strong expertise in Terraform and experience in data platform environments.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to refine cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain Terraform configurations and tools.
- Enhance deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines.
- Support and optimize data platform environments.
- Work closely with technical teams to deploy robust data solutions.
- Implement automation strategies to streamline data operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Platform Engineer.
- Expertise in Terraform, especially within complex cloud environments.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD, automation, and deployment pipelines.
- Experience working with data engineering or analytics teams.
- Available for onsite work in Stockport three days per week.
