Overview
The Interim Senior Integration Architect / Design Authority will play a crucial role in a complex SaaS transformation programme, focusing on independent assurance and hands-on support as the project approaches its go-live stage. The contractor will quickly assess the current integration state, identify critical gaps, and ensure that the architecture is robust and ready for deployment, working closely with both internal teams and third-party suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Provide independent design and architecture assurance across a complex SaaS implementation.
- Review and strengthen integration architecture, APIs, and end-to-end data flows.
- Identify gaps in solution design, documentation, and testing.
- Assess integration, regression testing, and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party suppliers to resolve issues and improve confidence ahead of go-live.
- Produce clear, pragmatic recommendations and prioritize impactful actions.
Requirements
- Experience as an Enterprise Architect, Integration Architect, or Design Authority on large transformation programmes.
- Strong SaaS implementation experience; CRM experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Proven expertise in integration architecture, solution assurance, and enterprise integrations.
- Comfortable being hands-on, reviewing designs, and challenging technical decisions.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery.
- Calm, collaborative, and pragmatic approach to give honest feedback effectively.
