Overview
We are seeking a Senior .Net Developer to support a rapidly scaling Sports Technology company in modernising their middleware platform. This role involves hands-on implementation as well as architectural insights, and is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic, small business environment. The position is fully remote within the UK and is offered as an initial 6 to 9 month contract.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the modernisation and stabilisation of the company's middleware platform.
- Develop and implement architecture-level solutions to improve current systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and understand business requirements.
- Utilise expertise in .Net, SQL, and APIs to enhance platform functionality.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and high code quality.
- Document technical specifications and processes for future reference.
Requirements
- Significant experience in re-developing or modernising legacy .Net platforms.
- Proficient in .Net (versions 4.0 and above) and SQL.
- Strong understanding of API development and integration.
- Experience with architecture-level thinking in software development.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setup.
