Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer to take on a critical role within a hybrid environment involving cross-functional collaboration and technical leadership. The contractor will work with diverse teams on large stakeholder projects, focusing on developing a branded payments product and ensuring production-readiness in cloud-native environments, particularly within Azure. This position will leverage the candidate's expertise in .NET, C#, and event-driven architectures while promoting effective communication and risk management.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in large stakeholder forums consisting of 18 or more participants.
- Drive a production-readiness mindset focusing on risk management.
- Contribute to cloud-native deployments in Azure, particularly via Container Apps.
- Participate in the design and delivery of features for a branded payments product.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in .NET and C#.
- Proven technical leadership experience in complex, enterprise-scale projects.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and event sourcing.
- Knowledge of cloud deployments, especially in Azure.
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently in large, cross-functional meetings.
- Proven capability to hit the ground running in fast-paced environments.
- Experience in product-focused companies, with an emphasis on payments or fintech is preferred.
- Exposure to working within high-security environments involving AppSec, cryptography, and compliance-heavy projects.
