Senior Flex Pricing Analyst / Product Owner | Contract | Remote | 2-3 months | Outside IR35 | Remote | £500-£700 Contract: 2–3 months Location: Fully Remote (UK-based candidates) Rate: £550–£700 per day Status: Outside IR35 I am working with a leading energy provider committed to innovation and customer-centric solutions. As part of thier next phase of growth, they are launching a flexible electricity contract offering designed to give customers more choice and adaptability in how they consume and pay for energy. The Role They are seeking a senior Flex Pricing Analyst/ Product Owner to take ownership of the design and delivery of this new product. This is a hands-on, high-impact contract role where you will: Build and structure pricing components for flexible electricity contracts. Develop advanced pricing models in Excel to support product design and commercial viability. Integrate pricing structures into our billing system (Kraken), ensuring seamless functionality. Collaborate with commercial, operations, and IT teams to deliver a market-ready flexible product. Provide strategic input into tariff design, risk management, and customer value propositions. Experience needed Extensive experience in energy pricing, tariff design, or flexibility products. Proven track record in senior-level pricing analysis within the energy/utilities sector. Excel expert — advanced formulas, pivot tables, VBA/macros, and financial modeling. Strong understanding of billing systems (Kraken experience highly desirable). Ability to operate independently in a contractor capacity, delivering results quickly. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
