Overview
We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join our team on a 3-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will work predominantly remotely but may be required to meet the team occasionally. This role focuses on developing high-quality frontend applications using React and TypeScript, collaborating with other engineers to implement robust and scalable user interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Develop frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
- Implement state management solutions using Redux or modern equivalents like Zustand or Recoil.
- Integrate with REST APIs to manage data flows effectively.
- Design and build administrative interfaces, including portals and configuration UIs.
- Ensure robust error handling and loading states throughout the applications.
- Collaborate with the team to establish best practices in frontend development.
- Contribute to feature flagging and conditional UI implementations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with React development.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and modern state management libraries.
- Experience with API integration, particularly with RESTful services.
- Strong understanding of React component architecture and hooks.
- Familiarity with role-based visibility and feature flags.
- Experience in building admin portals and similar user interfaces.
- Bonus: Experience with design systems and workflows integrating Figma with React.
- Bonus: Familiarity with payments UI or terminal UI design.
