Overview
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to take ownership of the frontend architecture within a growing fintech organization focused on building an AI-powered platform for financial services. This fully remote role will involve working closely with product founders and engineering teams to enhance an existing platform and shape its future direction by implementing engineering best practices and strategies. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, and will have a significant impact on the user experience and overall product quality.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the frontend architecture and technical direction.
- Develop and enhance complex React applications.
- Improve the quality, maintainability, and scalability of the existing codebase.
- Establish frontend engineering standards and best practices.
- Drive consistency across the UI and component architecture.
- Ensure platform security and quality meet enterprise financial services expectations.
- Collaborate closely with founders, backend engineers, and product stakeholders.
- Influence product direction and user experience through technical expertise.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with React.
- Excellent JavaScript and TypeScript skills.
- Experience owning frontend architecture and technical decisions.
- Strong understanding of scalable frontend design patterns.
- Experience refactoring and improving existing codebases.
- Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and secure code.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence to influence technical direction.
- Familiarity with financial services, fintech, trading, capital markets, or investment banking.
