Overview
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer Contractor to take full ownership of end-to-end engineering processes within a rapidly expanding global selling platform. In this role, the contractor will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain both front-end and back-end systems while ensuring high-quality engineering standards. This position allows for direct influence on product development and the opportunity to mentor junior engineers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack solutions across UI, APIs, and backend systems.
- Translate product requirements and designs into scalable, production-ready systems.
- Develop responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and usability.
- Design and develop scalable services and RESTful APIs.
- Maintain legacy systems while building modern architecture.
- Write and maintain automated tests and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Requirements
- Strong full stack engineering experience with proven backend expertise in PHP (Laravel).
- Proficient in modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Vue/Angular) and ES6+ features.
- Experience in designing and building RESTful APIs and scalable systems.
- Familiarity with MySQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Couchbase, MongoDB).
- Strong understanding of system architecture, microservices, and cloud environments (GCP).
- Knowledge of event-driven systems such as RabbitMQ and CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated success in applying strong engineering practices, including testing and code quality.
