The Senior Instrument Engineer will be engaged as a contractor for a period of 12 months, providing specialized engineering input for project work scopes within the energy sector. This role involves collaborating with technical teams to enhance asset management solutions, focusing on safe and efficient operations while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering input to estimates for project work scopes.
  • Contribute to progress and planning meetings.
  • Specify modifications for existing equipment and new purchases related to instrumentation systems.
  • Conduct site surveys on offshore or onshore assets.
  • Produce calculations and participate in design reviews.
  • Check and approve documentation for discipline work.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality policies.
  • Deliver technical documentation and reports as per project requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Instrument Engineer in the energy sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of DCS, ESD, F&G, and metering systems.
  • Experience with industrial networking and communication systems.
  • Ability to conduct thorough technical site surveys.
  • Proficiency in producing and reviewing discipline documentation.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and within a team environment.
  • Experience in compliance with industry standards and codes.
