Overview
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Legal Counsel specializing in Asset Management for a 6-12 month interim role. This position will focus on supporting our client’s business by reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various commercial contracts, while also providing leadership within a collaborative and agile team environment. The role requires a proactive thinker with a strong sense of accountability and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of IT-focused commercial contracts including Master Services Agreements and SAAS Agreements.
- Collaborate with the contracts management and in-house legal teams to ensure compliance with delivery commitments.
- Develop and enhance delivery processes and tools, such as contract templates and playbooks.
- Mentor and support junior team members by providing training and quality checks on legal work.
- Keep client systems up to date by managing relevant data inputs.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer in the UK with a Law Degree.
- Experience in asset management/private equity, particularly with real estate transactions.
- Strong commercial awareness and demonstrated client-facing legal experience.
- Ability to handle a diverse workload and meet client deadlines effectively.
- Extensive legal knowledge to act as a senior advisor and escalation point for junior team members.
