Overview
We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer for a 3-month contract to aid in the transformation of a local government organisation's multi-site corporate network. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure robust network performance and security, making a meaningful contribution to local services during a period of significant investment. The engineer will leverage their expertise in Cisco ACI and Palo Alto firewalls while also working with communication technologies and cloud services.
Responsibilities
- Support the management of a multi-site corporate network.
- Implement and maintain Cisco ACI and Palo Alto firewall solutions.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate voice and communication technologies.
- Utilize Cisco Meraki for network management.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and standards.
- Analyze business and operational requirements to define technical specifications.
- Provide expert guidance on cloud service implementations.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and Cisco ACI.
- Familiarity with voice and communication technologies.
- Experience with Cisco Meraki.
- Knowledge of cloud service platforms.
- Comprehensive understanding of security protocols.
- Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent.
- Palo Alto certification is preferred.
